Mission
Invest, Support and Advance Lane County's Economy by providing Business Development and Employee Training Services

Goals
Provide Services to:

Promote a favorable climate to grow and strengthen businesses and organizations, create jobs and raise real wages through the following activities:
  • invest and engage in training entrepreneurs
  • invest and engage in customized training for a skilled workforce
  • help retain and expand existing companies
  • support and engage in training microentrepreneurs

Assist Lane County communities and their economic development agencies to build capacity to start, retain, expand and attract businesses
  • provide business development services and resources
  • provide leading edge customized incumbent employee training services
  • advocate for entrepreneurship and business development

Improve national and global competitiveness of Lane County employees by:
  • supporting innovation, research and process improvement
  • assisting industry clusters to succeed
  • promote traded sector businesses and international trade
