.NET Web Application Devlopment Series A two-module series where students can choose to develop Dynamic Web Applications in either Visual Basic .NET or C# Sharp .NET. In this workshop, students learn Web Application development techniques utilizing the ASP.NET 2.0 Framework, MSDN Library, and SQL Server relational databases. Students will also gain skills in developing and managing web applications, class libraries, and custom Web controls; moreover, this series also includes an exposure to Web Services and HTML presentation techniques utilizing DHTML, XML, XSLT, and SOAP. Module 1: Basics Take this workshop for an introduction to Web Application Development using the latest Microsoft® Visual Web Developer platform, ASP.NET Class Framework, and SQL Server relational databases. This fi rst workshop is designed for students who are familiar with Web Application development, but are not familiar with the ASP.NET Framework; and those students familiar with similar Web application programming tools looking to expand their knowledge of Microsoft® Tools and Technologies. Module 2: Intermediate Module 2 is a continuation of Module 1 with real-world examples and practical, hands-on lab experience with ASP. NET and the 2.0 Framework. Module 2 also provides a deeper understanding of how and where Web Application technologies are used; and includes an in-depth exposure to SQL Server database development, Web Services, DHTML, XML, XSLT, and SOAP technologies. This second workshop is designed for students who are familiar with Web Application development utilizing Microsoft Visual Web Developer or students who have completed the .NET Web Application development, Module 1, workshop. |
