This certification program will prepare you for the PHR® or SPHR® exam. It includes a comprehensive review of the entire body of Human Resource knowledge. This program uses the SHRM Learning System® and is a comprehensive course highlighting content areas that may appear on the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification exam.

The course content reflects the general body-of-knowledge tested by the Human Resource Certification Institute. This course of study will in no way guarantee or assure success on the HRCI exam. Students must use the most recent addition of the SHRM® educational products for this course, and are strongly advised not to use outdated materials.

As noted above, the program focuses on the body-of-knowledge; helps you assess your competency level; refreshes areas you may not currently be practicing. Periodic progress checks and homework exercises include sample questions to reinforce classroom sessions and topics that may appear on the certification exam. While completing the course provides no guarantee or assurance that a candidate will pass the HRCI certification exam, participants who do no pass the HRCI exam of their choice will be permitted to repeat the class in Spring 2009, for a discounted fee.

This is a 12 - 16 week program designed for business owners, managers and human resource professionals. You will receive 12 weeks of initial supported instruction, two (6) hour (Saturday) final preparation classes, and the option to schedule one-on-one student/instructor consultations.
