Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS is designed to provide American Heart Association (AHA) standards, cardiac knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional care of the cardiac patient. This provider course is presented through lecture and hands-on skill stations. Successful completion of this ACLS course is dependent on achieving a minimum score of 84% on the written examination and satisfactory performance at the evaluation stations according to AHA performance criteria.
