Sustainable Business Management William H. Klausmeier, Ph.D., Instructor Program Benefits Do you want you organization to save costs and ensure the most locally-available and efficient choices are made?This program will introduce you to the concept of sustainability and how it can streamline operations and reduce overhead. For as little as $9 an hour per person, participants will be shown how to focus time, energy, and funds for a more successful business.
Workshops and Expert Speakers Participate in 10 monthly, three-hour workshops focused on the introduction of the concept of sustainability and the many ways the theme affects operation of a small business. Topics include conservation utility and materials cost reduction, minimizing driving time and the use of teleconferences. Learn from experienced business leaders who have successfully put sustainability into practice. Personalized Coaching Enjoy one-on-one sessions with the instructor who is experienced in applying sustainability principles to your particular case. Benefit from a "green" audit of your business practices to pinpoint specific instances where a more sustainable alternative can be implemented. Peer-to-Peer Support Interact with your peers in exercises that will create new insights and forge new associations for the future. Board Member Involvement Board members of small businesses will be given an opportunity to also participate in seminars and activities to build a sense of cohesion and common purpose.
