Advanced Leadership and Business Communications Management Program

Programs

The following areas are some of the subjects pursued within the programs: business plans, marketing, financial plans, recordkeeping and taxes, assessing capital, hiring employees, business communication, and accessing resources.

Advanced Leadership and Business Communications Management Program (ALBCM),
noon - 1 pm, M (Every Monday except Jan 19 & Feb 16 when college is closed), WILD 213
This program is designed to help develop advanced leadership and communication skills and is an open enrollment program allowing entry at any time in the year. ALBCM is based on the proven Toastmaster business communications curriculum with the addition of a leadership track, coaching, and mentoring. Call 541.463.5255 for information and costs.


Innovation Business Management Program (IBM)
a year long series of 10 classes, plus one-on-one advising
This program is designed to help innovators take their creative ideas, turn them into business goals, and then achieve those goals. Whether you want to check the viability of an idea, build a manufacturing business, or license your intellectual property to another company; this 10-month program will give you the tools to get you there.

The curriculum includes:

  • New product development and process improvement tools
  • Project Management
  • Intellectual Property Protection
  • Business Planning
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Financial Analysis
In addition to the classroom training, participants receive personalized advising sessions each month with the instructor. The IBM program also connects participants with other innovators in the area, where they can learn from each other in a supportive environment.
